Who doesn’t love a good drink on the rocks over a catch up with old friends once the colder weather hits? Whether you’re a spiced rum and cola kind of person, or like to keep things simple with a clean scotch, there’s nothing better than when a drink just hits the spot.
Well, raise your glasses! The Franks Whisky Fair is about to make its fourth appearance.
But this time, things are going to be a little different. Brought to you by Franks Gentlemen’s Essentials, this year it’s been upgraded to the Whisky and Rum Fair. So whichever drink takes your fancy, you’ll be able to sample it to your heart’s content (safely) at the fair.

Whatever the answer, you’ll be able to build on your collection of trivia at the Whisky and Rum Fair
Taking place over two days, you’ll have access to over 200 different spirits to sample and learn about. It goes without saying, but we’re just going to take a second to remind you to drink responsibly, and maybe leave the car keys at home.
Other than sampling whisky and rum, the Fair also provides limited masterclass sessions on a first come first serve basis, so you can listen to the experts talk about the trade and learn more about what goes into bringing these delectable drinks to life.
Taking up residence at the Phoenicia Ballroom in Valletta, the Whisky and Rum Fair is bound to impress
Of course, the setting itself is pretty darn impressive, but they’re not holding back this year. There will be free-flowing food available for guests all night long, prepared by the Phoenicia staff especially for the fair. There will be live music accompanying you throughout the night, and if you want to bring along a non-whisky/rum fan, they’ll have red and white wines on offer too.
There will very literally be something for everyone at the Whisky and Rum Fair.
You’ll also be able to taste exclusive limited-edition spirits at the Fair as they launch here in Malta. There’s ample and easy parking available for guests at the venue, just remember to proceed with caution if you’re acting as the designated driver.
