If you’re somebody who loves to give yourself a bit of a treat every now and then, a new store has just opened up in Iklin that’s the perfect place to do just that.

Local designer jewellery brand Mvintage has just opened up a new concept store and cafe where you can shop for a new pendant or treat yourself to a glass of wine.

Or both.

The Mvintage Cafe offers a wide variety of foods and drinks…

Pick from sweet or savoury, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you want something light, you could pick up a smoothie and a sandwich, or just a coffee and cake. Or you could go the full mile and get your dinner there along with a glass of wine. They’re open from 7:30am so it’s perfect for a pre-work pick-me-up.

And whenever you make a purchase from the jewellery store, you can treat yourself to a complimentary coffee!

Alongside the cafe and extensive jewellery collection, the concept store also includes a section where you can stock up on some fancy stationery like notebooks and pens, as well as some other decorative items.

At the store, you can pick out ready-made items, or discuss personalisation with the employees who are ready to help you.

The store was opened alongside the launch of Mvintage’s Fall 2019 Collection

Inspired by Maltese coins such as the two mils and 25 cent, the new ‘Munita’ collection pays homage to our old currency and other fall trends. You can purchase pendants with your initials on them, or have them personalised with an engraving of your choice.

The collection also includes some new ‘Maduma’ (tile) pendants, and a variety of rings, bracelets and earrings in fall colours such as emerald, toffee and crimson red.

And what better way to rep your love of these beautifully colourful isles?!

The Munita Collection was entirely designed by the founder of Mvintage, Krystle Penza

And apart from taking inspiration from old Maltese coins, she also took inspiration from the jewellery given to Maltese children during their baptism. Paying homage not only to Malta’s past, but our childhood too.

Two brand-new stones were even added to Mvintage‘s meaningful stone collection. The different stones promote confidence, boldness and independence which encourages freedom and self-reliance in the people that wear them.

Every pendant in the new all gold Munita Collection reflects the rich and vibrant history of Maltese culture from days gone by. These stunning pendants combine the memories of an arguably more graceful era with a little twist of  modern style.

Alongside the Fall collection, Mvintage also released a very special ‘Celebration Pendant’

To mark such a big milestone in the brand’s life so far. This Celebration Pendant can only be purchased from the concept store in Iklin, so it’s definitely worth a visit.

The  features a handpicked semi-precious snake skin jasper stone at its centre.

Hand-polished to perfection, the earthy red stone at the centre of a circular gold plated stainless steel case boasts delicate crimson-white streaks along its surface giving the pendant a bold and fiery feel.

You can also visit Mvintage stores at The Point in Sliema, in Paola and at their flagship store in Valletta

And since the Iklin Concept Store opens at 7:30am it’s the perfect place to pick up a last minute gift if you find yourself in a bit of a pickle.
