One More Time: Rain And Strong Winds Might Return To Malta This Weekend Ahead Of Sunnier, Warmer Days

Article Featured Image

Bright and sunny days dominated most of this last week, but before even warmer temperatures return to the islands, Malta might get another wet run.

Yesterday’s warm and very sunny day is set to persist throughout today, with a partly cloudy day and highs of 18°C seeing us into the weekend. By tomorrow, however, the islands are set to get some more rain, as isolated showers will see a day of strong winds of up to Force 5 and 6 all over again.

On Sunday, however, the possible showers should diminish in frequency, and we should be looking at a partly cloudy day of moderate winds and lows of 10°C to end the week.

As for next week, get ready for sunnier, warmer and all round calmer days to dominate the run-up to Easter weekend.

The big question is; what will the weather on Good Friday be like? Stick around and let’s see whether 2019 will (dis)prove the age-old urban legend.
