Poland Bans All Flights To And From Malta For Two Weeks

The Polish government has banned all flights to and from Malta for two weeks. 

The ban applies to 44 countries, including Malta, and will come into effect tomorrow, September 2nd.

The ban on commercial flights will be in place until September 15th.

Those who fly to and from Poland today won’t be affected by the ban.

Poland is currently dealing with a second wave of the COVID-19 with 18,834 active cases.

Last week, the country recorded its highest-ever daily increase in cases with 903 new patients. Although the country has exhibited a downward trend since, the government has still decided to prohibit travel across 44 countries.

Malta currently has 471 active cases following 21 new cases and 87 new recoveries.
