One Hell Of A Windy Easter: Here’s The Weather For Malta This Weekend

Article Featured Image

It’s spring, we have a long weekend to look forward to, the sun is shining, and people are beginning to hear the call of the great outdoors. But if the weather forecast for the next couple of days is anything to go by, it might be time to rethink your weekend plans.

While Malta should not be getting any rain – not even on dreaded Good Friday – it looks like things are about to get very windy very quickly

As today’s partly cloudy day sees us into the weekend, Saturday will be kicking things off with strong southeasterly winds that will have Good Friday’s Force 5 gusts feel breezy.

Over the weekend, winds of Force 7 are expected to hit the Maltese Islands.

It’s been one very windy year in Malta, and it sure looks like spring isn’t letting off just yet.

Highs of 18/19°C and lows of 14°C across the board should make for relatively warm days – especially with the sun already shining at a UV Index of 8 and 9 – but look out for those strong winds and take them into account if you’re planning anything outdoors.
