‘Kuraġġ Matteo!’: Support Floods In For 18-Year-Old Mtarfa Youth Left Fighting For His Life

Messages of support and prayer have flooded in for Mtarfa youth Matteo Grima after a traffic accident left him fighting for his life.

The Malta Football Association, Mdina Knights FC, and family and loved ones urged him to “be strong and keep on fighting” so he could return to his former life and be happy again.

“Our whole group is behind you and your family. We are praying for you Matteo – keep him in your prayers!” said one person.

Matteo is known in the football community for his passion for the sport as well as his role with Mdina Knights FC.

“We know you’ll be able to overcome this and emerge as a winner.”

The 18-year-old youth was left with serious injuries three days ago following a traffic accident in Rabat where he was struck by a moving vehicle. He is currently being treated at hospital.
