A Ryanair flight headed for Bristol has turned back and landed back in Malta.
No one was injured during the incident. Ryanair has since said the landing took place after a cockpit warning light indicated a possible minor technical issue.
Emergency services were on site.
The flight was already delayed by some fifteen minutes this morning, but had to turn back while it was still within Malta’s airspace.
