Peppi Azzopardi, Claudia Fanniello And Others Get Chained Up For Provocative Photo Protest
Maltese heartthrob Ben Camille has used the airtime on his reality TV show to push for legislation against chaining dogs and leaving them outside alone. The Camille famille, as well as the production team behind Benjamin, are all big dog lovers and hope their campaign will raise awareness and see that some form of concrete action is finally taken.
Putting Ben behind, rather than in front of the camera, the concept of the shoot was simple: show what it would be like if humans were the ones chained up.
Drawing from his pool of celebrity, dog-loving friends, Ben created a series of images, all photographed by him, that show a raw and painful glimpse into what chained animals have to suffer through. The eye-catching, black and white snaps feature his brother, Dale Camille, Britain’s Next Top Model winner Tiffany Pisani, Eurovision star Claudia Faniello and Maltese TV royalty, Peppi Azzopardi.
A bill that was meant to ban this horrible practice was proposed to parliament almost two years ago, but as of yet nothing has been done about it and chaining dogs is still completely legal in Malta.
Carina, who emotionally spoke about the need for more action to be taken on the show, together with Ben and the team hope the shots will evoke strong emotions and give the cause the push it desperately needs.
