Joseph Calleja will be performing on 4th September in what will be the first major concert held at the iconic Fosos in Floriana since COVID-19.

Despite the pandemic initially putting a halt to all events this year, NnG Promotions has just announced that Calleja will be performing and he’ll be joined by none other than the award-winning, platinum-selling Italian artist Zucchero.

The concert will also be the first performance at Fosos this summer and he’ll be joined by the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra in order to celebrate.

Zucchero is no stranger to the island, having performed here just two years ago. The iconic and recognisble voice of the Italian singer will go hand in hand with Calleja’s gold-age pipes as they embark on a night of unforgettable celebration of music under the stars.

Calleja’s annual concert has become a staple for Maltese events over the years with Calleja being joined by international music stars including Eros Ramazzotti and Andrea Bocelli.

In the wake of COVID-19, the concert will enforce social distancing between seats in order to follow public health guidelines. Seat ordering won’t be affected.

Tickets for the concert will go on sale to the public on Monday 20th July.
