In 1996, a 17-year-old girl managed to win the hearts of Malta and went on to represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Competition. Her name was Miriam Christine.

Her entry, In A Woman’s Heart (which placed 10th overall with 68 points), has been remixed for a new generation just in time for Malta Pride 2019

Fast forward 23 years, Miriam requires no introduction to the local pop scene, she’s participating in L-Għanja tal-Poplu; the Festival tal-Kanzunetta Maltija; and the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza – and with 3 definitive studio albums she’s gearing up for the release of her 4th later this year.

A couple of months ago, with Malta Pride 2019 in the distance, Miriam Christine and her management decided to pitch a remix for In A Woman’s Heart to Peter Carbonaro, creative director of Malta Pride 2019, to launch during the annual concert.

In A Woman’s Heart (Pride Remix) was remixed by Sean Vella of Philip Vella Studios and is supported by a lyric video produced by Duane & Angie Laus. It is available to download and stream through all major streaming platforms.
