Malta Pride’s First Fashion Show Was A Great Success And The Afterparty Was Pretty *Lit*

Malta Pride was officially launched on Wednesday, but the real party kicked off last night at the first ever Malta Pride Fashion Show

Karly May and ARC organised a celebration of Malta’s local fashion scene with designers, models and artists all falling into different brackets of the LGBTQI+ community coming together with the support of their straight allies for the first ever Pride Fashion Show, and it was then followed by a super lit afterparty.

Sarah Zerafa joined Parascandalo’s runway with her #BackToBlonde hair

And alongside her on the walk was last month’s Lollipop poster girl, Kirsten Borg Cardona.

Speaking of Lollipop, their resident DJ was on hand to serve up a bop and a half for anyone who stayed for the afterparty

Miss Universe Malta 2018 walked the runway, too, and shared a backstage snap on her Instagram story

And for anyone who missed it, and if you did we’re disappointed, Karly absolutely slayed with an impromptu lipsync battle to Ariana Grande’s 7 Rings

The show turned out to be a great success for all those involved. We spoke to Karly to get a few comments after the event, and here’s what she had to say:

“It feels like a dream, I find myself having to constantly remind myself that it has really happened and it went so well!”

“What I want everyone to take from last night is the beauty of what coming together can bring, as everyone involved fall into every bracket of gender and sexuality.”
