The Netherlands Grab The Win At The Eurovision Song Contest 2019, As Michela Only Receives 20 Points On Public Votes
The entire island can now collectively breathe a sigh of relief after waiting an hour to find out what position we’d end up in at the end of the Eurovision. Would we feeling those 7th Wonder second place feels, or the reliving the ‘I Do’ ‘un point’ embarrassment?
Both iconic in their own ways.
Well, at the end of a journey that’s been months in the making, Michela finished in 16th place
Malta, represented by the lovely Ben Camille, gave our 12 points to Italy. Sadly, none of the international juries gave us 12 points, and we’re pretty mad. At the end if the jury votes, Michela and Team Malta found themselves in 10th place.
After the public votes were added, Malta secured their position in 16th place after only receiving 20 points from the public.
