Perfectly-Timed Shot Captures A Baby Chameleon Asleep On Maltese Aleppo Pine Tree
A photographer has managed to capture a perfectly-timed shot of a baby chameleon asleep on the pines of one of Malta’s indigenous trees, the Aleppo pine inside Majjistral Park, Mellieħa.
In times when our natural environment is so heavily threatened, positivity like this is rare yet inspiring.
Isn’t this the cutest baby chameleon ever! ????

The shot shows the biodiversity thriving in the Nature and History Majjistral Park just days after a French marathon organiser was charged with wilful damage because of spray-painting red arrows all over the nature park.
“This is why we are fighting to safeguard the Maltese environment,” says local environmentalist Cami Appelgren on the post.
This sweet post highlights the beauty that can come out of our local flora and fauna when we peacefully co-exist.
It also enforces the sentiment behind a project which has recently been launched where 2,500 indigenous trees will be planted, including a number of Aleppo pine trees like this one, and distributed across the Maltese islands.
