Crowdfunding For Mental Health In Malta Closes At €12,000 Raised

It’s been just over a week since the Malta’s Half Marathon, and now Team Lovin is proud to announce our crowdfunding campaign to raise money for the Richmond Foundation has reached (and exceed) its goal!

That means this weekend we got to celebrate a double win; finally being able to walk normally again and raising €12,000 through ZAAR’s website.

The money raised will be donated to the Richmond Foundation, an organisation that helps rehabilitate citizens with mental health difficulties, including children and young adults. Their work includes providing subsidised therapy and offering various types of accommodation, for people going through different stages of treatment.

We’d really like to say a special thank you to every single person who donated to the cause and we can say with certainty that it will be put to very good use.

We’d also like to thank our corporate sponsors for their generous donation and work they put into helping us reach the goal. Firstly Eurosport and Le Méridien for their great prizes given to donors. We’d also like to shout out QGenCatena MediaCredorax Bank, Coke (GSD Malta), ProHealth Ltd., Toyota Malta (Michael Debono Ltd.), Spinola Park and Dizz Group for their help.

Finally we’d like to thank Bernadine, Reuben and of course Joseph Calleja for their personal contributions to the campaign.

Thanks again, and we’ll see you at next year’s marathon… hopefully!
