WATCH: Emma Muscat Takes To Social Media To Announce Breakup With Biondo Ahead Of ‘Full Summer’
It’s been a gossip-filled couple of months for Malta’s starlet Emma Muscat and Italian R&B singer Biondo, with everything from love triangle rumours and defiant collaborations being announced in the run-up to a very busy summer for the pair. Now, it seems like the Emma-Biondo love story has indeed finally come to an end.
Taking to social media after her latest livestream, Emma switched back to English so that everyone could understand what she had just announced in Italian.
“Simone [Biondo] and I are no longer together as a couple,” the young Maltese singer started. “But we still respect each other a lot and want to be in each other’s lives.”
“We really hope you can understand the situation and be sensitive to the situation,” Muscat continued, going on to say that the pair wouldn’t want any gossip or false information going around… no doubt referring to the tumultuous period earlier this year where various Italian gossip sites had been hinting at inner goings-on between the two. “That’s why we decided to announce it directly ourselves,” Emma added.
“In the meantime, I’m working on lots of new music and it’s going to be a full summer, so stay tuned and I’ll see you guys around,” the teenager starlet finished, thanking the immense support she’s received over all her social media and fan pages.

In the meantime, Biondo himself took to social media to redirect people to Emma’s story… and offer some more perspective on the story.
“Guys, I hope you’re good, because we are,” the singer stated. “I hope this is a lesson for you, because for us, it is.”
Just over a month ago, Emma and Biondo released the collaborative single Avec Moi… going on to amass more than five and a half million views since then.
