Malta might be offering all types of foods nowadays – though we are still waiting on a proper jerk chicken joint – but one special collaboration is offering some seriously authentic Mexican cuisine. And it’s your last chance to get your hands on it.

Cru Bar in Valletta and Inua Lifestore have teamed up to create a Mexican pop up store until the end of July, serving everything from tasty tacos to some proper mole.

“Do you know what mole is?” Inua Lifestore asked in a post.

“Mole is like rich tomato sauce on steroids! We all love tomato sauce, but not every sauce tastes the same as the ingredients are the key. Mole consists out of a minimum of 14 secret ingredients and Juan has perfected his recipe for this month’s Mexican theme at Cru Malta. Mole will be your new favorite comfort food, gluten-free, vegetarian and yeah there is a lot fun involved with getting your hands dirty!”

And it’s not just mole – they’ve got freshly made tortillas that are served with a variety of fillings, from beans to shrimp and everything in between
